Last Updated: July 2026
Thank you for participating in a KIRIA stakeholder interview.
KIRIA conducts independent qualitative market research with experienced healthcare professionals and industry stakeholders to better understand real-world decision-making, organizational structures, clinical workflows, healthcare delivery, and emerging trends across the healthcare industry. Your professional insights help inform high-quality healthcare intelligence and strategic research.
These interviews are conducted solely for research purposes and are not sales calls, promotional activities, or product discussions. Participation is entirely voluntary.
By scheduling and participating in an interview, you acknowledge and agree to the following Terms & Conditions.
1. Purpose of the Interview
The purpose of these interviews is to gather professional perspectives and real-world insights to support healthcare market research conducted on behalf of KIRIA and its clients. Findings are used in aggregate to inform strategic decision-making, while protecting participant confidentiality as outlined below.
2. Confidentiality
KIRIA is committed to protecting the privacy of all research participants.
Information shared during interviews will be treated as confidential and accessed only by authorized members of the KIRIA research team for the purposes of conducting, reviewing, and validating the research.
Research findings may be summarized, aggregated, anonymized, or otherwise de-identified to protect participant privacy. KIRIA does not publicly attribute statements or opinions to individual participants without their explicit permission.
Participants should not disclose confidential, proprietary, patient-specific, or otherwise protected information during the interview. This includes, but is not limited to:
- proprietary business information
- trade secrets
- unpublished financial information
- protected health information (PHI)
- confidential third-party information
- any information restricted by employer policy or applicable law
We are interested in your professional perspectives and experiences—not confidential documents or protected information.
3. Recording
Interviews may be audio and/or video recorded solely for internal research purposes, including note-taking, transcription, quality assurance, and research analysis.
Recordings are not shared publicly.
Access is restricted to authorized members of the KIRIA research team and authorized parties.
4. Professional Expectations
Participants should answer questions truthfully and based on their own professional experience.
If you are unsure of an answer or unable to discuss a topic due to company policy, confidentiality obligations, or regulatory restrictions, simply let the interviewer know. You are never expected to disclose information that you are not permitted to share.
5. Follow-up Questions
Our goal is to accurately reflect the perspectives and expertise shared during each interview.
After reviewing interview notes and recordings, KIRIA may occasionally reach out with a small number of follow-up questions by email to clarify responses or obtain additional context. These requests are generally brief and are intended to improve the accuracy and completeness of the research.
Not every participant will receive follow-up questions, and the number and scope of any follow-up will vary depending on the needs of the research.
While responding to follow-up questions is not required, the final honorarium may be adjusted based on the participant’s overall contribution to the research, including, where applicable, any additional clarification provided through follow-up correspondence.
7. Honorarium
Eligible participants will receive an honorarium in appreciation of the time, expertise, and professional insights they contribute to the research.
Prior to the interview, KIRIA will communicate the applicable honorarium range for the research study. As each interview is unique, the final honorarium amount is determined following the interview based on the participant’s expertise and the overall value of their contribution to the research. Factors considered may include the relevance, depth, clarity, and completeness of the professional insights shared.
Where additional clarification is needed after the interview, KIRIA may contact participants with a limited number of follow-up questions. These questions are intended solely to clarify or expand upon topics discussed during the interview to help ensure the accuracy and completeness of the research. While responses are appreciated, KIRIA reserves the right to consider the overall level of participation when determining final honorarium eligibility and amount.
Honoraria are typically issued after the participant’s involvement in the research has concluded and all eligibility requirements have been satisfied.
Participants are responsible for ensuring they are permitted to accept an honorarium under any applicable employer, institutional, or organizational policies.
8. Eligibility
By participating, you confirm that:
- you are participating in your personal capacity as a professional expert
- you are legally permitted to receive an honorarium
- participation does not violate your employer’s policies or contractual obligations
- any information you provide reflects your own professional experience
9. Interview Duration, Scheduling & Attendance
Most interviews last approximately 45–60 minutes, although some studies may be shorter or longer depending on the research objectives, and are conducted virtually via Zoom.
Participants are expected to join the interview at the scheduled time. If you need to reschedule or cancel, we ask that you notify KIRIA as early as reasonably possible.
Repeated no-shows, late cancellations, or failure to meaningfully participate in the interview may affect eligibility for the current honorarium and for participation in future KIRIA research opportunities.
10. Independent Research
KIRIA is an independent healthcare intelligence and market research company.
The opinions, experiences, and perspectives shared during interviews are those of the participant and do not necessarily reflect the views of KIRIA or its clients.
11. Voluntary Participation
Participation is entirely voluntary. You may decline to answer any question or end your participation at any time.
Honoraria are provided at KIRIA’s discretion and are generally based on successful completion of the interview and the participant’s eligibility for the study. If an interview is ended early by either the participant or KIRIA, the honorarium may be reduced, withheld, or adjusted based on the portion of the interview completed and the value of the insights obtained.
KIRIA also reserves the right to conclude an interview if it determines that the discussion is no longer aligned with the objectives or eligibility requirements of the research study.
12. Consent to Record and Use of Technology
By joining this interview, you consent to the recording of the session for internal research purposes.
KIRIA may use secure transcription and artificial intelligence (AI) tools to assist with transcription, organization, and analysis of interview content. These tools are used solely to support the research process and operate under the same confidentiality standards described in these Terms & Conditions. Final research conclusions are always reviewed by members of the KIRIA research team.
